Meet Cynthia Cobb

Cynthia Cobb, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over thirty years of human resources experience as a generalist and staffing specialist. Her expertise was built during a long career with Baxter Healthcare Corporation and through her consulting with privately-held and publicly traded companies across a myriad of industries. As President and Principal of 3C - Cynthia Cobb Consulting, LLC, she has added value to her clients in many areas of HR. Cynthia is also an affiliate of Ariel Group (formerly Executive Coaching Connections, LLC). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Management from Purdue University and a MBA with a concentration in Personnel Management from Indiana University.

Cynthia serves the community

She is a past Board Secretary and President of the YWCA Lake County and has held the same positions for the Women’s Business Exchange.

As a Lifetime Member of Girl Scouts, Cynthia was a troop leader until 2011 and still volunteers with her community's Service Unit. At the church she attends, she is a member of its Executive Committee, Human Resources Committee and participates in the Job Connections, Community Service, and Women's ministries.

Cynthia enjoys giving back to others locally and nationwide

Cynthia, having just completed her second board term, currently serves as a volunteer for Center for Companies That Care, a national non-profit focused on social sustainability to help employees, families, and communities thrive. The organization also dramatically increases the college graduation rate of under-served students.

She is a past board member and current supporter of Bernie's Book Bank which empowers children to gain reading skills through book ownership.
